"Well I can read if for you Jean," said Maria.
"We'll do that then," replied Jean.
She then picked up Maria and put her on her shoulder. Then she gave her the contract to read.
Maria read the contents of the contract. Jean liked what she heard.
"How does that sound Jean?" asked Maria.
"Seems nice," replied Jean. "Ok you guys have a deal." She gets the under-sized pen and only just about able to sign her name on the dotted line. Then she gave it the the ring leader.
"Thank you very much Jean," said Mr Drake. "Your first act is in two days. I'll see you tomorrow."
He then walks away with the contract. this left Jean and Maria to talk to each other.
"Where did you find that guy?" asked Jean.
"It was at the circus. it wasn't too far away from here. And I saw a sign saying acts wanted."
"Well seems like the only thing I can do now is try and put on a good act. I'm not quite sure what I'll do."
"Come on you're a giant. Do things that only giants can do."
