After the Hurricane the circus and the surrounding areas were in ruins. Many people were hurt but thanks to Jean there were no fatalities. She herself had been injured by the many objects hitting her in the high winds. Although her huge size made her more durable she still felt pain and she get injured like ordinary people.
She had bruised her arms and legs and they were been tended to by the local health service. There was nothing broken but she wouldn’t be able to do any of her performances for a while. Well there wouldn’t be any performances for a while anyway since the tent had blown away.
We see Jean having a lie down a nearby field. She has bandages over the areas that she injured and she was trying relax a little. She was thinking about the life she had here compared to the life she had back on Earth. She knew that she could never return there and this upset her a little. But then she saw Boris come over to her. This put a smile on her face and she picked him up with the hand with least injuries. She bought him up to her eye level and she smiled.
“Hey there little guy,” said Jean.
“I’m not that small Jean,” replied Boris. “But I guess that I am compared to you.”
“Sorry if I offended you.”
“No you’re fine Jean. I just like being around you.”
“Oh that’s sweet of you.”
