Jean was still interested in this World’s version of a Christening. She wondered what they called a funeral here. She giggled a little and then she looked at Maria and Remy. She smiled at them.
“So when is it?” asked Jean.
“It’ll be sometime next month,” replied Remy.
“I can hardly wait. I would buy myself some more shoes. But I don’t think that anywhere does them in my size.”
The three of them laughed a little at this minor joke. But they needed to spend a little time with each other. And since there was no show today the Ring Leader didn’t mind them going out for a while.
Jean carried the three of them into a forest. This one was particularly famous for its beauty. An advantage of moving from place was that she could see if se could find anything beautiful. This one was particularly beautiful so she knew that it was a nice place to go.
“What’s this place called?” asked Maria.
“I’m not sure,” replied Jean. “It kinda reminds me of the forests on Earth.”
“Your home planet?”
