It was life changing enough to find one murdered body but two was sickening for her. She also feared that the police suspected her because she had found the bodies. She just hoped a little that it wouldn’t come to that.
They did ask everyone a few questions and they wrote it down. They could tell that whoever killed this person had killed the other one. In fact he had killed a few people like this so they knew that Jean wasn’t to blame. But they didn’t tell her anything. It was secret to the public.
But the experience had put Jean off the day out and she just wanted to go to the circus again. Remy and Maria could understand so they all went there. Jean was a little upset but there was really nothing they could do to cheer her up.
Eventually the couple had to go. They told Jean that they would leave details about the Christening and they would contact her later. She just went into a lake and she washed herself. This would normally calm her down when she felt stressed or depressed. It was relaxing to her fresh water around her body. She just lay there and closed her eyes and she began to think about life and death. There was a very thin line between the two and she wondered when it was going to be her time.
What does Jean do to cheer herself up? Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
