A little later there was a performance. There was a large crowd there despite the murder. They all wanted to see the performers especially their star attraction. They were all hyped up for the show.
Backstage Jean was just doing her last minute preparations. She was having some help from Boris. It was difficult because she had so many things to do and so little time to do it in.
“What I would give to have another four arms,” said Jean. “That would solve most of my problems.”
“But then it would be difficult to keep them clean,” replied Boris. “And you would have to put holes in your clothes for those extra arms.”
“Well that’s true. But it wouldn’t make any difference for my appearance. I’m still a freak in a carnival show. That would just make me more of an attraction.”
Then the Ring Leader came in. He looked up at the giant sized Jean.
“You’re up in 5 Jean,” said The Ring Leader.
“Ok I’ll see you in a minute.”
Jean then gave Boris a little kiss and she went out to do her performance. She had to be extra careful tonight.
