“Can I help you?” asked a Waiter.
Jean and Boris had not noticed him come to the table. It made them jump a little from their seats.
“Oh right,” replied Boris. “I will have the dish of the day.”
“I’ll have the same please,” added Jean.
“Very well,” replied the Waiter.
He then walked away and Boris turned towards Jean. He was surprised at what she had just ordered.
“Isn’t that a little less for you?” asked Boris. “You’ll starve.”
“Don’t worry I’ll just have something when I get back,” replied Jean. “It’ll be too expensive if I eat too many.”
“Money isn’t a problem.”
“I’ll be fine.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes don’t worry about it.”
“Ok then.”
They then waited for their meals to come.
