She smiled at them and gave them a wave back. She was happy that they didn't see her as a freak or a monster but instead as a human being.
"Hi," said Jean. As she walked past. "Don't forget to go to the circus it opens this weekend."
"We won't," replied a Child.
"Good hope to see you there."
As she walked on by she could see some of the other performers bringing in a crowd. They were doing several of their routines.
"Looks like we'll ahve a big turn out," said Jean.
"Hopefully," replied Boris. "If we don't get paying customers then we're all out of a job." he chuckled a little.
"Don't say that. This circus is all I've got. Well besides my friends Remy and Maria. What would happen if the circus closed down?"
"We would have to find ourselves new jobs."
"I could be a window cleaner."
