Jean sat out for what seemed to be an hour. But then she could hear the Ring announcer calling for her.
“And now for our star attraction,” said the Announcer. “She’s a girl who’s big in both size and heart. The Amazing Colossal Jean.”
“That’s my cue,” thought Jean.
She then crawled into the circus and people began to marvel over her size. She gave everyone a little smile before doing her act. People were amazed to see just how strong she was. They applauded her when she was finished. She bowed a little to them in a gesture of thanks.
“Thank you we’re here all week,” said Jean.
As the people left the circus Jean went to her area to relax a little. She looked up in the sky and she remembered what her Grandfather had said about the stars. She could still remember him. But she was upset that she would never see him again. Not the fact that she was too big. But that he had died a decade ago.
“I miss you Grandpa,” she said.
“You miss who?” replied a Voice.
Jean looked and she could see Boris.
