"I just got back from the gym downstairs" she explained.

'Well i guess that's an excuse' Frank thought.

"Okay then why couldn't you just take a shower first, change then come in see me?" he asked.

"Because i really wanted to see you" she said as if it was obvious. Frank still did not understand.

"I don't know if i am making much of a difference here. I feel like i'm in the middle with no purpose." she lied. she crossed her arms. Frank got up with a grunt to talk to her properly.

"You're an important part of the team, not just because of your skills, but because you're a strong person inside and out. I'm sure the rest of the team thinks so" said Frank reassuringly.

"really?" she pouted.

"Of course, you're really special at least to me." he said.

Heather smiled and it was genuine. "Thanks Frank" she didn't know that he could make her feel better that fast even if she was faking in order to make conversation.

She hugged him right there. Frank could feel her skin and the warmth of it emitting and sending chills and excitement to his own body.
