The Marathon class crusier Vancouver becomes a test ship for an experimental slipspace drive and develops a malfunction, thereby shrinking the ship to a foot in length and catipulting it to the 21st century, Crew and all try to keep the ship stable in the earth's atmosphere but fail.
Make up names for the crew and marines but stay on topic!
No sex, remember this story is 13+
The ship can crash
the crew has weapons, all of which do not work against the giants but the crew does not know that...

the POV must remain 2nd person
you may switch POVs
the ship may shrink more.
