Katherine Arrent (who likes to go by her surname rather than her first one) is seventeen years old and was on her way home from a nightclub when she was hit by a car, suffering near-critical injuries. There was no treatment available, but a new form of cryogenic freezing had just been developed, and Arrent's parents agreed to have their daughter frozen until a treatment was developed. Arrent was moved down into the heavily secured underground depot, where there were already a few other bodies. Unfortunately the hospital (along with the rest of the city) was bombed two days later in a terrorist attack, and nobody knew about the depot until much later when an archaelogical team accidentally found it. The frozen bodies were moved to the nearest place (in this case a world called Akkhen) and left there to be examined later.
Akkhen is a huge world. The small part of it that Arrent is on is called Lior, with the capital city being Lioret. Its unpolluted exterior belies the truth; it's under the rule of a harsh totalitarian regime. Inhabitants speak Akkhenian and varying degrees of English, from fluent to none. The question is, will Arrent's choices lead her to forming a rebellion, or joining the government? Or will she simply find a way off Akkhen at the earliest opportunity? The choice is yours.
There are no real rules for this except to please bear in mind the 13+ rating.
When adding the choices at the bottom, I would like one of them to be along the lines of 'Something else', but granted this only leaves you one other choice to play around with, I'm not going to make it obligatory. If I find any chapters with only ONE choice given, however, I will add the second 'Something else' choice.
If a chapter breaks the rule about graphic or profane content, or if the spelling and grammar are both incorrect, I will edit it. Otherwise, I won't interfere
