Before Naruto could answer, his stomach rumbled loudly. He had been so excited hoping to get a mission, he'd run out without eating breakfast!

"Sorry Konohamaru, but I'm going to get something to eat first!"

Konohamaru frowned and said, "Fine! I'm going to look for the rest of my squad!"

And with that, Konohamaru ran off in search of his friends. Naruto reached into his pockets and searched for some money. He pulled out a few coins and was exstatic to find he had enough for a bowl at the Ramen Stand! He cheered and ran off towards the stand.

As soon as he got there, he slammed the money down on the counter and said, "Give me the biggest bowl you got!"

The clerk counted the amount of money Naruto had and opened the register. He put the money inside and slammed it closed before shouting Naruto's order to the cook in the back. Naruto sat on the stool, leaning forward slightly, his foot tapping impatiently on the bottom rung of the stool. His jacket was riding up in the back, exposing his lower back. Naruto didn't care. He was too hungry to concentrate on anything besides the smell of the ramen.

By the time the clerk set the bowl on the counter in front of him, Naruto was practically drooling. He broke open his chopsticks and quickly began to eat. Broth and bits of noodles splashed over the counter as Naruto messily devoured the ramen. The clerk watched him in disgust. In a matter of minutes the ramen was gone. Naruto slammed the bowl down and sighed contentedly.

"Thanks Ramen Guy!" Naruto called as he ran off to find something to do.
