As this palaver happened in the clearing, Angelmaru drifted down into the Leaf Village, sensing a male prescense. In fact, it was Shikimaru who was laying down inside his house, eyes shut, tuning the world out. It wasn't often anymore that he got to sit down and relax, what with all the missions his cell had to go through, and this was sure to be the only time he'd get peace and quiet since Ino was gone searching for Sasuke. That girl did not know when to shut the hell up! All day it was Sasuke this, and Sasuke that, blah blah blah on and on with no end! Just thinking about her babbling high pitched voice made Shikimaru shudder. It was also nice to get away form Choji's constant smacking, slurping, and crunching.

Thinking these things, Shikimaru didn't notice Angelmaru floating in. Her voice lightly whispered, "Where are you...my one, my bond..."

Shikimaru failed to hear this and sighed, breathing in deeply. He instantly choked and sneezed as the dust surrounded him. He thought he heard a young woman sobbing before the dust blew out his window. He looked around, slightly dazed from being violently brought back to earth from his thoughts. He scratched at his shirt, feeling uncomfortable. He shrugged and laid back on his cushion, thinking about nothing in particular...

Meanwhile Angelmaru eddied in the wind around the village, passing several women out doing their shopping. She paid no mind to them and quickly floated up past. Almost by chance, she felt another male prescense. What passed for her heart now leapt and she quickly blew over to whoever it was. In the back of her mind she couldn't help but think this was going to be a dissapointment.

And indeed she was right. The prescense she had felt was Choji who was reclinging under a tree and eating like always. He was focused on his snack, his back turned to the dust floating towards him. Shikimaru had expressed a need to be alone for awhile, so Choji was waiting it out under the tree before heading over to Shikimaru's house. He brushed absently at his clothes as some dust, probably from the road (yeah right...) covered him. He heard the wind sighing (or is it...) as the dust blew away into the sky. He coughed a little and rearranged himself under the tree before going back to eating.
