The Hokage stared steelily at Naruto while he thought about the situation.

"This is my chance to retire at last!" He thought. "I've been doing this for long enough, let someone else take over. With Naruto at this size and strength we won't have to worry about invasion either. I have to handle this just right though..."

He coughed and said, "I obviously am no match for you at your current size and strength Naruto. Therefore, I shall willingly hand over the title of Hokage and all responsibilites it connotates over to you. In fact, I'll do more than just that. Along with the prestige and governing abilities of the Hokage I present you with full power and authority over the entire Leaf Village. Recreate the government as you see fit. Also, before I step down, I'm obligated to inform you of the current events of the village."

Before he could continue, Naruto lowered Sakura to the balcony and said, "Sakura can take care of that!"

Sakura seethed when she heard that! He was just foisting the hard work onto her! Unthinkable! Then Naruto continued by saying, "My first step at recreating the government is appointing Sakura as my second in command! She'll handle the tougher problems since she's a lot smarter about that stuff then me!"

Sakura blushed at that remark. She was willingly led into the inner office where the Hokage briefed her on the possible war and the other issues that were defined and repeated in the mountain of paperwork. Sakura looked at the sheer volume of it and despaired. Naruto bent down to the balcony and said, "Don't worry Sakura! I know you can do it! I'm going to collect the rest of my new government."

And with her confidence renewed, Sakura listened intently to the Hokage and began to study the paperwork. It didn't Naruto long to get back to where the other giants were...
