Hinata then made a swift attack on Sakura.
"Crap!" Sakura thought deflecting the attack with one hand. As Sakura retreated a little, her hand now hurt.
"How does that feel?" Hinata asked, "What ever you feel now will hurt even more. Once I defeat you I will take that demon and Naruto will be mine forever!" Hinata then gave out a sadistic laugh.
"She's nuts!" Sakura thought. "Not going to happen," she said, "On either point. Naruto never noticed you. If you try and force him to love you, it won't be a real love. You'd only be fooling yourself." Hinata's anger rose and she attacked Sakura again.
"You don't know anything about Naruto-kun!" Hinata yelled attacking with both hands. Sakura barely had time to duck and avoid the attack.
"Her attack was sloppier than the first," Sakura thought, "If I can get her angry enough, her attacks might be weakened and give me a chance. I just have to avoid her until then." She dodged another attack.
"Tell me why Naruto would like you over me?" Sakura yelled backing up.
"Because I'm gentle and caring unlike you! I wouldn't harm a hair on his head!" Hinata said back.
"He doesn't mind that," Sakura said, "He learns from making a mistake. By punishing him, it enforces that. Besides, have you really seen Naruto in a fight?"
"I saw him against Kiba," Hinata said.
"Yeah, from what I've seen, that was a low mark on his fights, especially at the end. I've seen him battle a missing-ninja and outwit him, saving Kakashi-sensei's life. I've seen him help change the outlook of an entire town, and not Konoha. I've seen him face things that would make you die from shock. It nearly made Sasuke, but Naruto's voice gave Sasuke a beating that made Sasuke even more powerful. Then there was his fight against Neji, you recall that right? Remember how he won?" Sakura asked. Sakura's words were making the desired attack. With every point, Hinata got angrier and lost focus on using her Gentle Fist in favor of just punching the pink haired enemy. Sakura's last point made Hinata miss Sakura completely, giving Sakura a chance for a powerful punch to Hinata's face.
"I saw it," Hinata replied, wiping her now bloody nose.
"Do you recall his drive to win? How he never stopped fighting, even when Neji was winning? How he used his inner power to undo what Neji's Gentle Fist did to him?" Sakura asked, "Naruto is more than he seems."
"What do you mean?" Hinata asked, her Byakugan deactivating.
"You said you were there, don't you recall everything? It was pretty hard to miss," Sakura chided.
"My heart was still injured from Neji's attacks. I didn't see the entire fight," Hinata confessed.
"Then you didn't see his burst of chakra, revitalizing him," Sakura said, "Do you know why?"
"No," Hinata said.
"Then you'll never know him for who he really is," Sakura said.
"And what is that?" Hinata asked.
"A true hero," Sakura said before leaving to return to her squad and Lee. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
