As Naruto and Sakura moved backwards, trying to escape the smoke screen, Sakura felt a normal size hand take her wrist.

"Naruto!" Sakura thought and screamed. Naruto raised his other hand to hit Itachi, but he was gone.

"It seems a new plan is in order," Itachi thought, before leaving.

"He's gone," Neji said.

"Great," Sasuke said with a mixture of delight and anger.

"Wow, I feel funny," Naruto said holding Sakura to his body.

"Is Naruto moving me up his body?" Sakura thought. But she soon realized she was getting closer to the others eye level. With the sound of Naruto's pants ripping off, she knew what happened.

"Great," Shikamaru said quietly to Neji and Sasuke, "Now Naruto's even bigger."

"At least this explains why Itachi fled," Neji said. Sasuke nodded in agreement as the three of them watched Naruto grow higher and higher. When he finally stopped, Sakura was standing in the palm of his right hand.

"Thanks Sakura!" he said in a low voice.

"Welcome," Sakura said. "Angelmaru, why did you do that?" she asked her demon.

"I didn't," Angelmaru said, "With your desire to be protected by Naruto, you made him grow by tapping into my power without invoking me."

"I can do that without asking you?" Sakura asked.

"When I've been bonded long enough with a person, and they have excellent control of chakra, then yes," Angelmaru said.

"So, what do we do now?" Naruto asked Shikamaru.
