Sakura felt Itachi coming at her and Naruto. Naruto had risen his other hand in front of Sakura to help protect her.

"Useless," Itachi said appearing before them. His eyes locking in on Naruto's.

"Oh no, I can't look away!" Naruto said. But a sudden attack made Itachi look down quickly. Jiraiya just came out of Naruto's shadow, wielding the Rasengan. Jiraiya hit Itachi dead on and the missing-ninja flew backwards into a tree.

"I was wondering when you'd come out," Shikamaru said holding Itachi with his shadow.

"I was waiting for an opportune moment," Jiraiya said, "Now hold him tight, you two. I'm going to kill him." Neji and Shikamaru held on to Itachi, not looking at his head.

"Wait," came a voice behind Jiraiya.
