As Naruto grew larger and larger he felt a strange numbing sensation in his head. As though from far away, he heard what sounded like laughter...

Naruto shook his head and the numbness died down. Little did he know, Orochimaru's chakra was slowly building up inside his body, taking over little by little. Naruto was able to resist this far and would no doubt keep resisting, but one more dose of Orochimaru's dark chakra could be enough to send him over to Orochimaru's control. The growth started slowing down when Naruto was about seventy five feet tall. Even sitting he was taller than some of the smaller buildings. The growth he sustained from Iruka gave him enough energy to stand and look around the village. While this sudden change was amazing (Naruto had never felt stronger) he knew it served a dark purpose. The end was close. Only Kakashi, Naruto, Gaara, and Shikamaru remained. And surely either Gaara or Shikamaru was defeated. Soon, the final showdown would be at hand. Naruto, after making sure Gaara was nowhere to be found at the moment, knelt down and offered his palm to Kakashi and Sakura. Both of the ninja climbed on and Naruto brought the pair to his face.

"Okay, now what Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto asked quietly.

Naruto's voice was still quite rumbling even when he was just whispering, his breath washing over both ninja in his palm. Kakashi thought about the question posed to him and said, "I suppose we have to find the others like us and fight them. I don't think Orochimaru will make a move until there's only one of us left. We have to make sure that you, Naruto, are the one left since you seem to have the best control over Orochimaru's chakra."

As Kakashi said this, Naruto felt a twinging pain in the back of his mind, the far off laughter seeming to get closer. Would Naruto be able to take it? This was already starting to be too much. Naruto shook his head again and steeled his will. He had to resist. There was no question about it. If he didn't, the village would be in big trouble. Konoha had already sustained a lot of damage as it was.
