Everyone instantly started looking at each other. Who was going to use the jutsu? And who would it be used on? The members of Akatsuki didn't really have subordinates. Pain obviously meant that it was going to be used on one of them. The question was, who? Itachi quietly said, "I refuse to let that be used on me. With my Sharingan, I'd be better placed using the jutsu than receiving it."

Kisame laughed and said, "Yeah, it's not really my style."

Deidara stepped back and said, "I'm an artist. I make art and I blow stuff up. That's what I do."

Sasori sighed and said, "The same goes for me."

Zetsu shrugged and said, "I really don't mind either way."

"Yeah, whatever you guys decide."

Kakuzu said, "I don't want it either. There's no profit in it."

Hidan thought about it and said, "Well, I could do it. Whatever works."

Deidara suddenly piped up and said, "Those two seem pretty willing. Let's just use it on one of them!"

Pain nodded and said, "It's a good start. But more of you will become willing when the time comes."

His eyes traveled all around the group. The other members knew that eventually one of them would have to have the jutsu used on them. But for now, Zetsu and Hidan both didn't mind having it done. That left who should use it. Deidara and Sasori were both up for it due to their artist status. Itachi was waiting for one of them to use it so he could copy it with his Sharingan. Pain said, "Alright, since both of you are willing for this, I will let the others decide."

All the present members stood by as Pain said, "Who should we use the jutsu on? Hidan? Or Zetsu?"

The Akatsuki talked amongst themselves for a moment. Who would be better suited?

The members each voiced their opinion. Pain nodded and said, "Very well. Who should use the jutsu?"

Once more the members voiced their opinions. Pain nodded again and said, "Very well. Then let us begin."
