Deidara, Kakuzu, and Hidan quickly made their way to the Sand Village, Deidara riding on his clay bird with Hidan's body while Kakuzu ran underneath him clutching Hidan's curse spouting head. Eventually Kakuzu got sick of listening to Hidan yell and sewed his mouth shut. After a few hours of travel the Sand Village was finally in sight. Deidara landed next to Kakuzu and said, "Alright hand me your scrolls. I'm going to find the target and seal the scrolls into three low level bombs. I'll set the bombs off around the target and he'll get covered in the dust. He'll no doubt then seek out Sasori and we'll have three giants on our side."

Deidara counted Neji not yet knowing he was being healed as he spoke. But Kakuzu nodded and handed over the two scrolls he had. He brought Hidan's body over to his head, which he had just dropped on the ground, and said, "I'll start sewing Hidan back together. Don't be gone too long or I can't guarantee Hidan will be whole when you come back."

Deidara rolled his eyes and said, "I'll keep that in mind."

He jumped back onto the clay bird and flew it up high into the sky over the village readying the bombs and searching for Kankuro. It didn't take as long as Deidara would've thought. He was dressed in the casual wear of the Sand Village and without the usual markings on his face since he wasn't currently on a mission. Focusing in on him, Deidara saw that he was buying maintenance tools and spare parts. Deidara remembered that he was a Pupper Master and was no doubt buying these items to help repair his puppets.

"He's using Sasori-sama's puppets if I remember correctly." Deidara thought. "Mere toys compared with Sasori-sama's latest work."

Deidara swooped around and hovered when he was over Kankuro. Taking careful aim, he dropped the bombs around him. Deidara watched as Kankuro stopped in his tracks as he saw the bombs fall around him, exploding on impact. The dust burst free from the destroyed scrolls and gravitated toward the nearest male which was Kankuro, covering him in three full scrolls of growth dust. Deidara grinned and said, "Bulls eye!"

Kankuro coughed and looked around wildly, wondering where that attack had come from. He cursed himself for not bringing his puppets along with him. He wasn't expecting to get attacked while on a quick trip to pick up parts for Crow. All these thoughts were wiped away as his body slowly started to grow. As he passed ten feet in height, his clothes getting incredibly tight on his body, his mind had only one thought: Get to Master Sasori.

With that thought in mind, and still growing, Kankuro headed to Sasori and Konohamaru.

As Kankuro started his journey, with Deidara, Hidan, and Kakuzu in pursuit, Neji was starting to awaken from his healing sleep. His eyes opened to find himself surrounded by ninja all looking ready to attack. He said, "What's going on?"

Shizune approached slowly and said, "How are you feeling?"

Neji looked at Shizune and said, "I'm feeling fine. Can someone please tell me what's going on?"

Everyone in the room breathed a sigh of relief and Shizune said, "Don't worry about it Neji. I'll explain everything while I perform your post op check up."
