With no need for restraint Kankuro and Konohamaru were able to fight viciously with intent to kill. Neither Naruto nor Iruka wanted either giant hurt so they were slightly pulling their punches and aiming not to permanently injure. With the situation looking grim, Iruka knew he had only one choice. He quickly grew another two hundred feet reaching 400 feet tall. Konohamaru, who had been aiming a punch at his face suddenly found himself punching his teachers thigh. Iruka ignored Konohamaru for a moment and grabbed the two Naruto clones by their collars, bashing their heads together and causing them to disappear, Kankuro's chakra strings falling to the ground. Kakashi took this moment to dart forward and grab Sasori in his hands. Before Sasori could bring Konohamaru around to attack Kakashi, before he could try to attach chakra strings to control Kakashi, Kakashi closed his fist around the Puppet Master, crushing his body to death. With the death of Sasori, Kankuro and Konohamaru lost their will to fight. Both just stood there waiting new orders but without Sasori they would be waiting forever.
Naruto wiped some sweat off his forehead and said, "That was close! Now we just gotta wait for Shizune and Pervy Sage so we can fix these guys!"
Kakashi dropped Sasori's body to the ground and put his foot on it, grinding the remains into dust. Iruka helped the two boys to lay down on the ground. They were compliant to the touch and quickly laid down their eyes staring up into the sky still waiting. Iruka and Naruto shrunk back down to a height closer to Kakashi so they could talk while they waited. It didn't take long for Jiraiya to suddenly burst through the trees followed by a toad. In the toad's tongue was Sakura which the toad laid carefully down. During all the excitement she had fainted the strain of being kidnapped and the worry about dieing for so long finally catching up to her. Another fifteen minutes passed and still Team B hadn't come back. Iruka turned to Jiraiya and said, "Did you see them anywhere?"
Jiraiya nodded. "They were making an attack and had almost fallen into a trap. Gaara took out one of the Akatsuki members and I stole the head from the other one."
Almost everyone gave Jiraiya a weird look and he sighed and said, "Don't ask. The point is there's still one more Akatsuki member out there and we don't have any idea what his powers might be."
"It's also possible they've got reinforcements." Kakashi said. "There were only four that came to attack the Leaf Village. That leaves six members still out there."
Naruto started looking uncomfortable as he asked, "I'm not liking the sound of that. Shouldn't we go find them? It's not like they're going anywhere!"
That was true. Jiraiya said, "Alright. Naruto, Kakashi, and me will all go looking for Team B and assist them if they need it. Iruka will stay here and guard these two to make sure nothing happens to them. Let's go!"
Iruka grew to three hundred feet tall to keep a lookout as the rest of Team A headed out to look for Team B. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
