As the medical ninjas looked after the three senseis and the other giants helped in cleaning up after the three new rouge giants, Tsunade headed back to the Hokage Mansion. This madness had gone on long enough. She had to do something to combat the Akatsuki's knowledge about the scroll. She was determined not to make any more since that would only exacerbate the problems at hand. As she walked up the Hokage Mansion's staircase leading to her office she was stopped by two figures. Tsunade instantly knew who they were: The elders of the village, Homura and Koharu. If they had came out seeking Tsunade it probably meant trouble. Tsunade continued walking up the stairs and said, "What brings you both out here?"

Homura was the first to speak, "We need to talk Tsunade. The recent events in the village have gotten out of hand and we need to do something about it."

Tsunade indicated that they should go into her office. They did so and Tsunade asked, "What would you propose?"

Koharu said, "The villages safety is at stake so long as those giants exist in our midst. We come to you with two options: Find a way to permanently shrink them back to normal size."

Tsunade thought about that for a moment. If all her research thus far was correct then she didn't think there was a way to shrink them back down to normal size. It wasn't a normal jutsu that could just be released. She focused back on the elders and said, "And the second option?"

Homura looked deadly serious as he said, "The only other option...is to kill them."

Tsunade's eyes widened as she heard this. Could they really be serious? How could she eliminate the others? She shook her head slowly and said, "That is completely out of the question. I will not have any members of this village killed."

Koharu stared coldly at Tsunade and said, "As Hokage you are responsible for the wellbeing of the village. If killing a few means the salvation of many then those few should be sacrificed for the greater good."

Tsunade did not like this talk of "greater goods". It sounded like a terrible excuse to easily solve a problem. She continued talking, "I still won't. There has to be a better way. The giants and the normal people of the village can learn to live together. It'll take time, but it can be done."

Homura frowned and said, "And in the meantime, what if the Akatsuki attack again? What if more giants are turned against us? If we kill the giants we have now they won't be able to turn against us."

"And likewise they won't be able to help us!" Tsunade said getting frustrated. "Any male can be made into a giant, even normal people. An army of normal males at a massive size could be just as dangerous as a giant ninja. If we have some giants we at least have protection!"

Koharu shook her head and said, "You are as stubborn as Sarutobi was. But in the end he too came around. You will as well."

With those strange words, the two elders left Tsunade. As Tsunade was being ordered to do the impossible, Itachi, Kisame, and Tobi were heading back to the Akatsuki's hideout.

"Wow, this is so exciting!" Tobi said running behind Itachi. "You're so amazing Itachi!"

Kisame laughed and said, "Looks like you have a fan Itachi."

Itachi said nothing. He pulled out a kunai instead and threw it at Tobi. Tobi barely dodged it in time yelling out, "Hey! Watch it!"

Itachi stopped running, facing Tobi in a clearing. Kisame stopped as well and said, "Itachi what's wrong? Why are you attacking the kid?"

Itachi turned slowly to look at Kisame. "We've been working together for a long time Kisame. But I can no longer go along with this man's work."

Kisame looked confused as Itachi said this. "You're as clear as ever..."

Tobi laughed nervously and said, "What's all this about Itachi? What work? I just barely joined the Akatsuki."

Itachi ignored Tobi and continued talking to Kisame. "Go back to the cave. This doesn't concern you. If you stay, you may learn more than you want."

Kisame snorted and said, "Whatever. If that's the way it's going to be, then fine. I'll leave."

With that Kisame left, leaving Itachi and Tobi alone. Itachi closed his eyes and said, "After all these years I've finally got the means to kill you."

Tobi held up his hands and said hurriedly, "Why do you want to kill me? Tobi's a good boy!"

Itachi opened his eyes revealing his Mangekyo Sharingan. "Enough of this charade. We both know who you are Madara Uchiha. I sent Kisame away for a reason."

Tobi lowered his hands slowly and said, "Well I can't say I'm surprised. I always knew you'd try something like this eventually. Do you really think that you can defeat me?"

Itachi shook his head. "Alone, no. I'm sure you haven't revealed the extent of your powers to me and have a few tricks left to show. But with the three giants on my side I don't see how you can stand against me."

Madara laughed and said, "You really think I couldn't see this coming? Well then, let's see how the power of Itachi Uchiha matches with the power of Madara Uchiha."

Both stared at each other, Sharingan's active, waiting for the other to make the first move.
