While the Uchia were staring each other down, Tsunade was sitting in her den. A heavy sigh came before she closed her eyes and pulled out a bottle of sake. Soon followed a cup to drink. She gently poured the liquid into the cup and waited. She stared at the drink and the smooth surface on top of it, her reflection staring back at her. She couldn't kill the giants. She knew that. Besides the strategic loss, losing people like Kakashi and Asuma at this time and age would be one of the worst things. And then to lose hopeful promising ninja like Naruto, Shikamaru, and a few of the others would be detrimental to the future.

"They sound like Orochimaru," Tsunade said before putting a drink down when she heard clapping. Tsunade looked up and saw Jiraiya had infiltrated her den without her sensing it.

"You must be really focused on what those two old farts had to say," Jiraiya said, walking forward with a bag on his back, "To not have a drink."

"You heard?" Tsunade asked.

"Yes," Jiraiya said sitting down, "They're scared and wrong. The 3rd Hokage would never of done something like that. He loved every man, woman, and child like his own. He could accept them dying in battle. But slaughtering comrades was far lower than he would allow."

"But what do we do?" Tsunade asked, "I mean, I've looked over every scroll, every medical book on a way to reverse it, to help the situation. The closest I got was a way to forcibly shrink and grow certain aspects of the body in a permanent nature!" Tsuande looked away quickly realizing what she said.

"So that's how you got those 'two friends'?" Jiraiya asked.

"Shut up or I'll punch you," Tsunade said.

"All right," Jiraiya said, taking some things from his backpack.

"What's in that?" Tsunade asked.

"Well, this stuff was meant to go to Naruto when he gets older and more mature," Jiraiya said, "But I doubt the Fourth would mind us using it in a way to help save him." And from the bag, Jiraiya pulled scrolls of notes, data, and ideas for possible jutsus the 4th Hokage had written. Though some were incomplete, every idea was conceived in away that wasn't how Tsunade thought.

"Do you think any of this will help?" Tsunade asked.

"It may. He's like his son: Always thinking out of the box," Jiriaya said as he finished emptying the bag, "Let's get to work." Tsunade nodded and started reading.

After an hour passed and some scrolls were quickly finished, like "Way to summon ramen on missions" jutsu was tossed quickly. But eventually, Tsunade said, "I found something."

"What is it?" Jiraiya asked.
