Dawn of the next day brought a day that hadn't been seen since before the Orochimaru's first scroll appeared. With Tsunade's healing going on, and no likely strike by the Akatsuki, both people and giants were getting along very well. In different parts of the village, people were bonding in their own way.

Naruto and Sasuke, working under Sakura's direction, were helping repair the damage done by Kiba's run.

"You guys are doing great!" Sakura yelled at the two twenty foot giants.

"Thanks," Sasuke said, lifting some debris. Naruto and his shadow clones also picked some up.

"This isn't half as bad as I thought it'd be," Naruto said.

"Yeah, because Sakura's invited us over to eat at her house once again," Sasuke thought. But if it got Naruto working with him, he'd have no qualms about the motivation.

Near the main gate of the vilage, Shikamaru was escorting Temari to where she'd meet up with her brothers and her jounin-sensei.

"I didn't get a chance yesterday to say thank you," Temari said as they walked down the street.

"For saving your brother?" Shikamaru asked.

"Yeah," Temari said, "What you did will go along way in helping good relations between our villages." Shikamaru nodded, but felt that this wasn't the only relationship she was commenting on.

"Probably," Shikamaru said before Temari stopped.

"Just around this corner's the main gate, right?" Temari asked.

"Yeah," Shikamaru replied, he thought Temari already knew this. Suddenly Temari leaned in and kissed Shikamaru on the lips.

"Stay strong you big lazy fool," Temari said before going around the corner.

"Temari, what are you blushing about?" Gaara asked his sister.

"None of your business," Temari replied in her normal tone. Shikamaru was smart not to continue following her around the corner as Kankuro looked that way before they departed back to Suna.

Team Guy, once again at a restaurant, was also enjoying some bonding time.

"Oh Neji, I am so sorry for my hubris! And for making you feel umbrage against me!" Lee said as they ate some food.

"Lee, two things," Neji said taking a napkin to his face, "One, you already apologized to me today."

"And thirty times yesterday," Tenten added in.

"Second, if you're still going to do it, don't have food in your mouth," Neji finished. Lee swallowed.

"Right," he said. "I am so happy that we are getting along once again!"

"Yes my wonderful students, you truly are bonding nicely," Guy said, "But the best way to ensure you bond completely with each other is for you to wear each others' underwear!" Neji and Tenten nearly choked on their food. Both exchanged glances and knew to get out of there before it was too late.

"Oh wonderful idea Guy-sensei! I'll take mine off right now!" Lee shouted loud enough for the entire place to hear. "Wait, I forgot to wear some today," Lee said right before he dropped his pants. Neji and Tenten looked at each other again. It was too late, for them because they realized deep down, they truly weren't bothered by this anymore. And that is something that really scared them.

Jiraiya smiled as he once again looked through the village and seeing all the bonding and healing going on. With Team 7 being the corner stone of Tsunade's plan, it worked very well. He was also lucky to catch Temari's kiss to Shikamaru. He made note of it and would add that to his next Icha Icha book "Big Lovers". As he passed Team Asuma, they were enjoying a nice meal at the Bar B Que.

"Now if we could only get those damn elders to talk about what Itachi was saying," Jiraiya thought as he went to Tsunade's where she was meeting with them right now. And in the hospital morgue, there were 10 ANBUs lead by Kakashi, protecting Itachi's remains from anyone who might try destroying the body for any reason.
