Danzo turned to the other two and said, "This is our last chance. After this, if we fail to escape we shall accept our punishment with dignity befitting ninja of our position."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small rocket. With his other hand he produced a lighter and flicked it open, lighting the fuse and sending the rocket into the sky where it exploded in green sparks. Instantly several shinobi appeared out of nowhere surrounding the other ANBU, Kakashi, and Hiashi. Danzo picked up his cane and shouted, "Root ANBU this is your most important mission to date. Subdue this traitorous group of shinobi and allow us to escape."

The Root ANBU darted forward attacking the group led by Kakashi. As the ANBU attacked the three elders attempted to escape. They didn't get far though. As soon as the Root ANBU had started attacking Kakashi had started growing. The Root ANBU found their attacks all hitting Kakashi and each one doing little to no damage. With a few swift kicks Kakashi was able to subdue the entire group of ANBU. They had been at an extreme disadvantage due to their surprise at Kakashi's monstrous size. With Kakashi able to defeat the Root ANBU, the other ANBU and Hiashi were able to chase after the elders surrounding them once again,forcing them to stop.

Koharu sighed and said, "So this is how it ends."

Hiashi stepped forward and said, "You've brought this upon yourselves. But you will not be killed."

Homura shook his head and said, "We shall be looked upon in disgust for the rest of our lives, confined to chairs as our spines are broken. Our lives are as good as done."

Danzo laughed slightly to himself and said, "Beware. There may come a time when those you counted as friends and allies turn against you and threaten your life. What will you do then I wonder? I hope I live long enough to see it for myself. Nothing in this world is certain. It never was and never will be."

Hiashi had heard enough. With a simple signal the ANBU moved in and rendered the elders unconscious, their bodies falling to the ground. When they awoke they would find their legs dead and unresponsive as Tsunade herself would sever the nerves in their spines. At last the Uchiha had been avenged and Sasuke could live the rest of his life out in peace, free to choose whatever path suited him.

And though there was cause for celebration in Team Seven, the troubles of the Leaf Village were not yet over.
