As Sasori closed himself back into his puppet, the other members of Akatsuki all waited to see what was going to happen to Hidan. Suddenly, Hidan started growing...sort of. Within minutes Hidan's right arm swelled up and burst the sleeves of his coat, the enormous appendage slamming into the ground. Before anyone could blink, Hidan's left foot started growing as well, bursting the sandal off. Hidan fell down as his left foot started raising his body into the air. Landing on his back, with his left foot pointing up into the sky, Hidan started cursing out Sasori while Kakuzu shook his head in disgust and Deidara laughed.

"What the &#$%**# did you do to me?!?!?" Hidan yelled, unable to move much due to the weight of his giant limbs.

Sasori checked over the scroll detailing the jutsu and said, "We were too hasty. We were supposed to allow the scroll to stay sealed for half an hour. I suppose that's to avoid this situation we have before us."

"So what do we do now hmm?" Deidara asked, finally stopping laughing.

"There's not much we can do." Sasori said. "The best course of action would be to make another scroll and sprinkle the dust over the other parts of Hidan's body, allowing them to catch up."

"Can't we just release the jutsu?" Kakuzu asked.

"No, this jutsu can't be released. Orochimaru created it with the intent of using it for a permanent servant." Sasori explained. "In other words, we have to wait."

Sasori got out of the puppet again and performed the jutsu a second time, laying the dust on the scroll and sealing it. Sasori climbed back into the puppet and said, "Alright, when half an hour goes by sprinkle the dust over the rest of Hidan's body. You have to wait though. I modified the jutsu this time so the two scrolls will be in equilibrium with each other."

So the Akatsuki were forced to wait around to use the jutsu again.
