Shikamaru scratched his abs a little, his stomach growling. "Yeah...some food sounds really good right now actually..."

He sat down in a chair opposite Naruto, stretching the arms to the sides, the chair way too small to hold him. He sighed and looked over at Kiba. "Well? Weren't you getting us food?"

Kiba grumbled and seemed about ready to say something when Naruto swatted him a little and said, "You heard him! Get moving!"

Kiba yelled a little, his skin getting bruised where Naruto struck him. He sullenly went into the kitchen and started looking through his cupboards. He and his family ate a lot of meat so there was quite a few different types. Beef, pork, chicken...he pulled down all the meat he could find and then dragged out a bag of rice. Meat, rice...he could probably make some soup too...he pulled out some noodles and other spices and decided to just make a huge pot of ramen. Naruto would love that and if Shikamaru had a problem...well food was food. He normally would just refuse and then kick Shikamaru out...but now...well, he couldn't do that. He sighed and just started making food. It would only be a week or so...he could survive this. Hopefully Naruto's ego wouldn't get any worse...there was no telling what he might force him to do otherwise!

As Kiba began preparing the gallons upon gallons of ramen for his hungry "guests", Naruto sighed and smiled at Shikamaru. "So, why are you growing Shikamaru?"

Shikamaru, who had his eyes closed and seemed to be asleep, opened one eye and said, "It just started happening. I was just napping, minding my own business, and when I woke up, I was this big and all my clothes were tattered. It was way too troublesome to even try and find other clothes. What about you?"

Naruto explained about the scroll and the dust. Shikamaru tilted his head and muttered, "Where have I heard that before? It sounds familiar..."

"Really? Has something like this happened before?" Naruto asked.

Shikamaru shrugged and said, "I can't remember. I really don't care either way. Maybe now people will be more willing to leave me alone and just let me nap..." He wiggled his toes a little and said, "Man...my feet are sore..."

Naruto laughed and said, "Good thing we have a little slave to rub our feet for us!"

Shikamaru smiled a little and said, "We just have to make sure he doesn't leave the house and squeal..."

It hadn't taken much to turn Shikamaru to Naruto's way of thinking. It came of being larger than life and naturally lazy. If he could have people do all the work for him why would he complain? It was like a dream come true!

"Yeah, don't worry!" Naruto said. "I'm going to keep a close eye on him!"

Kiba heard Naruto's loud obnoxious laugh and wanted to punch something. He did NOT like being a slave to those two! He couldn't hear their conversations but he had an idea what was going on. He dumped the seared meat into the broth and kept stirring. He had two huge pots, one for each Naruto and Shikamaru. Would it be enough? He hoped so. This wasn't any fun at all. It would only be a few more minutes...

"HEY! Dog boy! Where's our food? Hurry it up!" Naruto shouted.

Kiba growled and shouted, "HOLD ON!"

Naruto chuckled and crossed his ankles. Life was good~
