As Naruto continued to trek across the world, spreading his ultimatum (and no doubt continuing to grow), the village was still safely secure between his toes. Naruto's foot sweat had effectively glued the village to his foot, preventing it from sliding off into the abyss. Tsunade stared out at the new landscape, her eye twitching. She had been able to force the village to adapt to the sudden changes, but she was starting to get annoyed by Naruto's indecisiveness. The boy, it seemed, could not just pick a position to put the Leaf Village in. "But we can still live like this." she reminded herself. "As long as Naruto doesn't crush us, we can still live like this."

She turned to Shizune and said, "Send word to every available carpenter in the Leaf Village. We'd better start constructing that statue."

Shizune nodded and quickly set out to spread the word. Tsunade looked out the window and said, "Now we just have to find a place to put it..."

As all this was going on, Sasuke was sitting at the top of the Hokage Mountain, staring out at the landscape of Naruto's foot. Looking up he couldn't even see the massive face of his friend and rival. All he could see was a pillar of pink skin that eventually changed to a pillar of orange. Sasuke felt totally inferior to Naruto. It wasn't a feeling he normally had, or liked. Right now, Naruto had enough power to wipe out all existence on the planet if he wanted. Sasuke felt jealous and frustrated. Why did this power go to Naruto? It wasn't right, and it wasn't fair. Little did Sasuke know, the same power that caused Naruto was grow, that strange green dust, had blown throughout the village since Naruto's growth. While most of it was lost, enough had found it's way to the Mountain and Sasuke was now breathing it in. Soon, he would start growing as well, though at a much slower rate.

The race was on.
