Shikamaru sat down at the edge of the village, causing a minor earthquake in the process, and picked up Kiba. He brought him close to his face and said, "Go find Naruto and bring him to me. It'll be harder on you if you don't cooperate."

He set Kiba on the ground and Kiba, with much grumbling, went off after Naruto. Naruto hadn't got far. Seeing Shikamaru grow so huge that Naruto couldn't even see past his knees had freaked him out. He wasn't going to stick around and get captured and there was no way he'd be able to get the bottle back now. But Kiba grabbed him and said, "Oh no you don't! If I have to deal with this then so do you!"

"Aw, come on!" Naruto screamed, thrashing in Kiba's grasp.

Kiba tightened his hold on him and went back to Shikamaru. Shikamaru grabbed him and brought him back to his face and said, "Alright, I'm tired and I'm going to take a nap. But I don't trust either of you. As soon as I'm asleep, I know one of you are going to try and steal it from me. So I'm going to tie you up to ensure you don't escape."

He picked up some strings from his clothes that had ripped off of him in his growth and handed one to Kiba.

"Tie Naruto up." He ordered.

Kiba did so and as soon as he was done, Shikamaru grabbed him and tied him up. Sighing he laid back, dropped the two smaller giants onto his stomach, put his hands behind his head and fell asleep. Kiba and Naruto struggled for awhile, but to no avail. Naruto had almost rocked himself right into Shikamaru's belly button. THAT would've been a disaster.

Luckily for Naruto and Kiba, the power of the bottle was fickle indeed. The bigger you became, the quicker you eventually shrank! The only way to keep huge size was to constantly drink from the bottle, but neither of the ninja knew that, and it was a difficult rule to figure out. By the next day, Shikamaru would've shrunk to half his current size. And, being so lazy, Shikamaru could be out of it for awhile...
