After thinking for quite a while, Shikamaru came up with Naruto. To Shikamaru, Naruto is quite dumb. If Naruto drank it, he wouldn't notice the side effect. Shikamaru started thinking of a plan. After only a few minutes Shikamaru came up with a plan.

         Shikamaru sneaked into Naruto's house. Knowing that Naruto's main diet is cup ramen, cup ramen, and cup ramen, Shikamaru looked for the kettle. Since Naruto would eat cup ramen either today or tomorrow, he would need the hot water from the kettle. If the potion is mixed with the water in the kettle, Naruto be drinking that potion indirectly. Once he found the kettle, Shikamaru opened it. There was still some water in the kettle, so Shikamaru just poured the potion into the kettle.

         After sneaking out, Shikamaru began to investigate Naruto.
