Konohamaru was sitting in his room, alone, being punished. He had been causing trouble for Iruka at the Academy and his grandfather had had enough of it. He was therefore stuck in his room for the rest of the day. But he wasn't going to just stay put of course. If spending time with Naruto taught him anything it was that you don't always follow the rules. If you wanted to do something you just had to do it!

So he had waited patiently for everyone in the house to be gone and then had snuck out of his room. He was about to head outside and go find his friends when he ran by his granfather's room. Normally this room's door was coninually closed and locked but today it was open. Konohamaru couldn't resist looking inside. Unfortunately it was disappointingly normal. There was a bed, a closet, a bathroom, a desk covered with scrolls and a window with a curtain. Konohamaru sighed and walked over to the desk, shifting some scrolls over and looking for something interesting. His eye fell on a scroll that looked like it had come from the Akimichi's. Konohamaru remembered that his grandfather was prized as knowing every jutsu in the Leaf Village and this one must've come from the Akimichi family. He noticed that some of the hand signs had been altered as was evident in the fresh ink. Konohamaru knew he'd never get another chance like this, so he performed the hand signs and waited to see what would happen. Konohamaru had improved his skills greatly and easily performed the jutsu.

Chakra flowed around him and he felt slightly worried that he had performed something dangerous. Luckily, the chakra all flowed into his body and he felt perfectly normal. Then he started to grow. He looked around him in surprise as everything started getting smaller. He stopped a few feet from the ceiling, at about ten feet tall. Poor Konohamaru's clothes, however, were not designed to hold when such a drastic transformation occured and were now much to small for him. His shorts had shredded leaving him in his briefs while his shirt had torn down the back. His goggles and ripped off as well as his scarf. He felt exposed and surprised and didn't know what to do.

Thinking fast, he tried to get out of the room. Unfortunately, the door was much too small and the doorframe itself was ripped out of the wall. That was a problem that would have to be solved later. Konohamaru tried to release the jutsu, but it wouldn't work. Whatever his grandfather had done to tamper with this jutsu, it wasn't releasing when he made the hand signs and his chakra wasn't being depleted. Frustrated he just sat down in the hallway and thought about this whole situation.
