It was really an average day for Kitty Pryde of the Ultimate X-Men. Save the world from someone like Magneto or Sinister. These types of days really got to her. She didn't have any time to have a normal life. No time to shop, go to the movies or go on a vacation. One day she snapped.
Inside Professor X's office Kitty and Prof X were discussing about this.
"I'm sick and tired of fighting bad guys day in day out," said Kitty. "I want a normal life."
"I realise this Kitty and there really is nothing I can do about that," replied Professor X.
"Well in that case I quit the X-Men."
She storms out of the office. She gets a few supplies and leaves the mansion. She keeps walking until she comes into a field with unusually long grass. She decides to have a quick lie down. After a few minutes she falls asleep.
A little later she is woken up by someone shouting. She sits up and sees a white rabbit wearing a waistcoat and holding a pocket watch.
"I'm late I'm late," cried the Rabbit. Then he ran towards a tree with a large hole in it. Kitty quite astonished with what she had just seen followed him.
"I wonder what a Rabbit could be late for?" asked Kitty.
She had to crawl to get through the hole. She crawled for some metres then she fell down a pit. What felt to her as an eternity she fell until she landed on a bed of leaves. She quickly gets to her feet.
"Where am I? And why am I in my X-Uniform?"
She had noticed that she was wearing her X-costume instead of her casual clothes. She sees a door down a corridor. Since it was the only door there and she couldn't go back up the pit she decided to go through it.
Then Kitty finds herself in a round room with many doors. She tries to open them (Including the one she had just come through). None of them would open. She then turns around and sees a glass table in the middle of the room. It had a bottle with a label on it.
"Wait that wasn't there before," said Kitty.
She walks over to the table and picks up the bottle and reads the label.
"Hmm drink me. Why not it doesn't seem like anything else around here is normal."
She takes a sip of the juice inside the bottle.
"Yum tastes like cherry."
Then Kitty notices that everything around her was starting to look bigger. But actually she was getting smaller. Soon she is only three inches tall.
"Hey what the hell happened to me?"
She tries to climb up the table to see if the cure was up there. But it was in vein she was too small.
"What am I gonna do now?"
She sits down on the floor. She puts her head in her hands. Then she notices a small box with a cookie. Someone had spelt the words Eat Me on it in chocolate chips.
"Well it couldn't possible make me any smaller so it's got to make me bigger."
She takes a big bite out of it. She waits a second for it to take effect. To her delight she saw that she was growing taller. After a few seconds she was her normal size. But she didn't stop growing. She went past the 7 foot mark then the 15 foot mark, then past the 28 foot mark. She stopped just past the 50 foot mark. Even sitting down her head hit the ceiling.
"Oh no now I'm too big," said Kitty. "This is the worst day of my life."
She starts to cry. Her huge tears was starting to create a pool in the room. After a few minutes the pool was 10 feet deep. Then Kitty sees a man in a rowing boat. He rowed it right next to her. He was fairly tall. he had longish black hair and had a bit of a beard. He had the I don't give a damm look in clothes. When he reached her he stood up in this boat.
"Alright up there," he said in an English accent. "What's the weather like up there?"
"Who are you?"
"I'm the Doctor. Please take my card." He hands her a small piece of card. She brings it to her eyes but she is too big to read it.
"Doctor Who?"
"I'm just the Doctor and I'm your guide here."
"Where is here?"
"In Wonderland. Now let me go over some rules. If you eat anything you grow. If you drink anything you'll shrink. As you can clearly see."
"Is that it?"
"One more thing. If you meet any good people and they need your help you must help them. or else suffer the consequences."
"And they are?"
"Well I don't know I aint used them yet. By the way I'll only pop by for two reasons. Number one you say Doctor three times. Or if I get bored. Now I have to go."
He starts to row away.
"Wait how am I going to get something to drink?" asked Kitty.
"What do you think your sitting in."
After a few seconds he is out of sight. She puts her gigantic hands into the water and cups some of it.
"Who's ever heard anyone drinking their own tears to save their life? Well here goes everything."
She drinks the water. Then she starts to slowly shrink.
"Hey it's working."
Then starts to shrink fast. Soon she is only 4 inches tall and she shrank so fast that she was under water. But quickly she got back to the surface.
"I better not drink anymore or else I'll shrink into nothing."
Then she notices a beach only a couple of metres away. She swims to it.
