Tina starts swimming backwards as fast as she can, kicking her legs wildly at the massive shark bearing down on her. Her lungs quickly empty of air as she screams all of it out. She doesn't have time to return to the surface and gasp more air in, though, as she watches the shark get closer. She watches the jaws move past her feet and realizes there's no escaping her fate now. As the large teeth move further up her body, Tina continues to kick her legs, trying to somehow get herself out of the animal's maw. It actually starts to work. The teeth had moved almost past her breasts, but she was beginning to break away. With growing happiness, Tina continues to kick her legs. Now if she could only get out of the shark's way again, she could get another breath of air.

Without warning, the shark's mouth snaps closed, sharp teeth puncturing into Tina's waist, just above her crotch. The bottom row of teeth stab into her lower back. With no more air in her lungs, all Tina can do is gape her mouth open in a silent scream of agony. Without thinking, she sucks water into her lungs and begins to drown. Not fast enough to avoid the pain the shark is inflicting on her, though. The shark begins to shake its head from side to side, sawing through her midsection. Tina's hands beat against the side of the shark's snout as the water fills with her blood, making it even harder to see. The pain surges and then Tina realizes she can no longer feel her legs. A moment later, and she's floating upwards, away from the shark, who's swimming along underneath her.

Tina breaks the surface of the water, floating on her back. She hacked and coughed, spewing water from her mouth. She felt lightheaded and filled with pain that seemed to be rapidly fading. Tilting her head forward, she looked down and gasped as below her midriff, there was nothing but some entrails and a large pool of blood soaking through the water. She couldn't believe this was happening. For as long as she could remember, she'd had recurring nightmares of being trapped in the ocean and being eaten by a shark. Now it was really happening to her. She felt water splash against her side and turned her head to see the shark returning, this time coming along the surface of the water, its mouth already opened wide for her.

Tina's mouth opened and she tried to scream, but found she couldn't, her body too weak from blood loss and shock. The shark rushed at her, closing its jaws on her again as it reached her. This time the side of the teeth came down on Tina's neck, easily cracking through her neck bone and slicing through her throat. Tina's severed head popped free from her body as her torso was devoured by the shark, starting to sink down into the water. Tina's mouth fell slack, eyes wide, as she drifted deeper into the darkness and the cold.
