Danny stood before the door to the boys’ locker room, a bit nervous about what he was going to do. Or, at least try to do. Sam and Tucker stood on either side of him, both looking just as nervous as Danny felt. He couldn't get past the fact that ghost fighting almost came naturally to him these days, and it no longer scared him the rest of the way to death. But Dash scared him more than any of those ghosts did, and he didn't know why. At least.... He had a general idea why. Mainly the fact that he couldn't use his powers openly with out getting caught; or it could be that he was constantly tempted to take that step over the edge to actually do something. And, he knew he could do it too. But now was different. Now he could use his powers for something he really wanted, and if he was careful still not get caught.
"You ready for this Danny? You know you don't really have to go through with this."
"No Sam, actually I do."
"Why?"
"I can't say, but I just do. You guys will wait for me out here right?"
"Sure thing man, I've got the first aid kit right here ready to go."
"Thanks, but I hope I won’t need it." He takes a step towards the door. A hand reaches out to grab him.
"Danny, whatever you’re planning, be careful."
"I will Sam." 'Shesh, how do they always know something’s up.' "Don’t worry about me." He sighs, and tries to smile. Sam lets go, reassured. Danny finishes moving towards the door, pushes it open and enters. Inside, the doors silently close behind him; a musky wet smell fills the room from the last gym class. The lights aren't all on, and a shower head can be heard dripping in the back. 'Well I'll give Dash points on the evil scale for the scenery.' He makes his way towards the back; trying not to breath and break the looming silence. He thinks he sees something move out of the corner of his eye, and knows the familiar feeling he gets from Skalker when he’s being hunted happening right now. His hair on the back of his neck starts to stand up. ‘I’m not going to jump, I’m not going to ju-!’
“Look who decided to show up! Fenturd, all by his lone some.” Dash crows from behind, as Danny jumps in the air from shock. “What shall we do with him boys?”
‘Boys? I thought it was going to just be the two of us?’ “Dash, it was just you and me.” Starting to get ticked about forgetting that jerks don’t play fare.
“Plans change dweb. Grab ‘im guys.” These two big teammates step out and slam Danny into the wall; though one could have held him. They both stood to the side so Dash could have a clean punch.
Rage filled Danny at this point. ‘These thugs lied to me again! They never fight fair!’ another voice seems to chime up. Sneering ‘What did you expect? An apology? You have the power. USE IT!’ The voice thundered these words into Danny; his rage building. He struggled to control himself, trying to think of any other way out as Dash came closer.
