“I want to go Daddy,” said Lisa.
“We will,” replied the Doctor. “But there’s something I need to do first.”
“What’s that?”
“Whatever this thing is we need to stop it here and now.”
“Can’t we just hope it goes away?”
“I wish I could.”
The Doctor made sure Lisa was safe. He then went running down the corridor and Nothing followed him. But he wasn’t afraid at all. In fact he wasn’t feeling any emotions whatsoever.
“Daddy that guy scares me,” said Lisa.
“He’s a friend,” replied the Doctor. “He’s here to help.”
“Ok Daddy.”
“He won’t hurt you.”
“It is close,” said Nothing.
“Where is it?”
“Just ahead.”
