“No problem!” says the super-sized server. “If you pop back to the washroom, I’ll leave you a t-shirt...one of the ones I’ve outgrown!” He grins madly at this, and adds, “Don’t worry, they’re clean - my granny washes them all before they get handed on. Just give me a minute here...”
The server hurries off, love handles bouncing gently above his belt. Jason wanders over to the dessert table, grabs a handful of cookies and then, munching steadily, proceeds to the washroom, where he finds a clean purple t-shirt hanging just inside the door. It’s not exactly his colour, but he peels off the too tight rugby shirt and slips on the t-shirt, which fits generously.
“Lots of room for more food!” Jason says to himself, bouncing a hand off his expanded gut, and making his way back to the table. He puts the too-small rugby shirt on the other chair at his table and then hits the dessert table for a pile of sweet stuff...
