The cook speaks to him, and Jason looks up at the elderly grandmotherly type.
"Ciao, bello, I don't see you too often. Would you like something special? An omelet, eggs florentine, eggs benedict? A steak? Extra sausage?"
Jason's stomach rumbles at her list, and to his surprise he is suddenly ravenous. "An omelet would be great!" he says.
"Western? Ham and swiss? Cheese?"
"Ham and swiss!"
"Don't miss the cinnamon buns, they're fresh."
Jason loads down a plate with eggs and sausage, grabs one of the giant cinnamon buns, then fills a bowl with granola and another with fruit salad and yogurt. Behind him, the cook smiles at his appetite, and wonders if she'll see him regularly now.
A couple of minutes later, Jason is well into the eggs when she lifts a plate with the omelet. He hurries over for it, snags a couple of muffins as well, then heads back to finish eating. He forks up the last mouthful and ....
