“Oh, just trying to help,” replied Robert, in an attempt to sound casual. “I enjoyed serving you! You know, we should get together outside of class sometime, maybe just hang out somewhere. We big guys should stick together.”
“Sure, that would be fun,” replied Jason. Robert’s reference to ‘we big guys’ made him feel bold. “Look, can I ask you something?” he continued.
“Sure,” replied Robert.
