For a minute, the two old friends walk in silence, with the swish of Travis’ thighs rubbing together the only sound. Then Travis says, “Can I pop a question?”

“Sure,” replies Jason.

Travis continues, “How big do you want to get?”

“Well,” began Jason thoughtfully.

“Don’t tell me you don’t know,” replied Travis earnestly, “I won’t believe it. You must have some idea of what would be good - unless you’re just into eating, and then you probably have some size you don’t want to be.”

“Hmm,” replied Jason. “How big are you?”

“If I told you I’m going to crack the freshman fifty this year, would that do for an answer? Seriously, we could both weigh in tonight, but I only weight myself after I’ve pigged out - the bigger that number on the scale, the better! So.... how big do you wanna be?”
