"Have you put on an unusual amount of weight lately?" Darren asked, eyeing Lucy's measurements. Certainly, she seemed as though she hadn't been this... big... at one point. Lucy's cheeks turned a pale pink as he asked this. Everything suddenly became more embarassing now.
 
"Well, I..." she muttered, suddenly choked up. He was so cute! How could she admit that she was, at one point, not this big?! Somehow, it was less embarassing for her if he just thought she was always like this... maybe then he wouldn't think she was a slob or anything!
 
"Well, Lucy, I have just the thing for you," he said, pulling a medicine out of one of the desk's drawers. The label said "Lose Quick!" in bright, colourful letters. He handed it to Lucy, smiling politely while taking another look over her.
 
"This'll help you lose weight," he said, taking a seat in his desk again. "You'll see results in a few days, most likely. It's a super-powerful formula. I've had to get lots of this stuff... kids seem to be reaching new lows in junk food-eating habits." He shook his head, obviously not impressed, then waved Lucy out the door.
 
"Thank you..." She said meekly, clutching the formula tightly to her chest. She looked at it forlornly for a moment, and then to her bulging abdomen. Part of her wanted to take it... Part of her wanted to stay this way. she liked being able to eat whenever she wanted.
 
Darren, however, had a strange glint in his eye when he looked at her. He also seemed a bit shady on the whole 'formula' business. What if this stuff made her GAIN weight instead of lose it? Oh well... Only one way to figure it out.
