Hikari sighed as she walked down a barely visible path, deep in the heart of a forest. It had been a while since she had decided to travel on her own, but she still found it hard to have no other people to talk to - Pokemon didn't make the best conversationalists. When she was still traveling with Ash and Brock, she at least wasn't alone when they got lost, as she was now. Frustrated, she sat down on a log to think.

After a while, she could hear voices coming from the direction she was heading. Without hesitating, she began walking again, hoping to find someone that could help her out of her predicament. She neared a clearing and paused; the women she saw were familiar to her, but in an undesirable way. They were members of Team Galaxy, who she had a bit of a bad history with. She had foiled a plan of theirs to capture some Legendary Pokemon, and played a part in finding them new places to live and hide in safety. Since then, she had trouble with them on numerous occasions trying to hunt her down to get the information from her.

"This isn't good," she thought, ducking behind a tree. "I'll have to take a longer route now. I'll be in trouble if they find me now, there's too many of them." Cautiously, she peeked out from her hiding spot to see what they were up to. Her eyes widened slightly when she noticed that one of them was missing. Too late to react, she noticed her vision blurring as a strange cloud of dust swirled around her. As she passed out, the missing Galaxy Member smiled and knelt down to pick Hikari up.
