when they got there Iruka and cliff saw Ino,Shikamaru and chouji hard at work training for their next mission. Iruka pulled on cliffs arm "come on cliff lets go over here. I don't want do disturb them." cliff nods "yes ani!" Iruka smiled at cliff and they walked over to a tree on the corner of the training ground. Shikamaru caught a glimps of cliff and Iruka as they were walking but decided not to disturb them. once cliff and iruka got to the corner Iruka sat down "now cliff first is the subsitution jutsu. BUT I think that is too basic for you so I brought this. complements of Tsunade. you look that the scroll and read the print on the scroll (Luckly cliff took japanese language courses) cliff jumped up then down "this is the shadow clone jutsu!" Iruka then put his hand over cliff's mouth and wispered in cliff's ear"shhh cliff! Non of the ninja's must know we have a copy with us."
cliff nods and Iruka removes his hand from cliff's mouth. Shikamaru turned to the corner to see what the fuss was about. but goes back to training Cliff opens the scroll and carefully reads the Instructions. then silently does the hand signs but yells it outloud "shadow clone jutsu!" a puff of smoke and cliff is beside himself. Iruka slapped his forehead "I told you to keep it down." but Iruka was too late. Chouji,Ino and shikimaru heard that exact phrase and walked over to cliff "the shadow clone jutsu? I thought naruto was the only one who knows that." chouji said. cliff nodded "yeah but ani told me the subsuition jutsu was too basic for me." Ino scatched her head "too basic? but all of us were taught that jutsu when we became ninja." Iruka nodded "yes but becuse cliff has a chakra almost as high as naruto we thought the aubtution jutsu was a little to basic for the amount of chaka that cliff had." Shikamaru nodded. "I see..so Iruka and Tsunade thought that the shadow clone jutsu was better suited for him." cliff nodded "I think so too." while they were talking Iruka silently grabbed the copy and put a paper bomb on it and threw it. 2 seconds later there was a big explosion. Cliff stopped talking and looked at Iruka "hey ani why did you do that!" Iruka turned to cliff and smiled "becuse since you know how to do the jutsu there is no reason to keep the copy." Shikamaru scrathed his head "but don't you need that copy? Iruka shook his head "of course not. why do you think we made a copy in the first place? Ino nodded "so if anyone stole it that could be destroyed if we need to do that." "Iruka nodded too. "that is right. that is why we made a copy. now cliff lets get back to training." cliff smiled "ok ani." Chouji scratched his head "ani? Iruka-sensei is this your younger brother?" Iruka turned to chouji and nodded "yep just moved here. He is a year and a half younger than me." Shikamaru looked at iruka then cliff "funny...he doesn't look a thing like you." Iruka Laughed "of course not. we could never find my brothers father. our mom was married twice." shikamaru Just nodded "ok that kinda makes sense." cliff then extended his hand to Ino,shikamaru and chouji "nice to meet you three, My name is cliff." chouji,shikamaru and Ino just smiled and shook cliffs hand "likewise." Shkamaru suddenly got an Idea "hey
cliff do you want to come train with us?" Cliff turned to Iruka "is it alright ani?" Iruka rubbed his chin "well there was still target practice,mastering the fireball jutsu and chakra control." suddenly a carrier bird with a note on it landed right in front of Iruka and Iruka took off the note and read it "oh darn Tsunade needs my advice for what team to put cliff on. sorry cliff we will master the fireball jutsu and everything else when I get back." Chouji got an Idea "hey Iruka-Sensei! we could take care of training cliff the chakra control and Target practice till you get back. I mean we already mastered it." Iruka smiled and nodded "ok Chouji.
I will leave it to your team." and with that Iruka ran off to Tsunade's office.
