There at the door was guy-sensei standing there. I sighed “is it that time already?” might guy just smiled and gave a thumb up “yes it is cliff! Now I skipped on my morning stretches so we could do it together then we are going to run a marathon around the village. And by the looks of it we will have to do it several times to get that weight off.” I sighed even more deeper “how many times?’ Might guy paused “well today I think 3 times will be efficient since we are just starting your training. But as we progress it will be longer. There might even be a time that we will walk it on our hands.” I felt like I was going to fall over. “on our hands?!?! Are you kidding?” Might Guy Just nodded “no one said this would be easy Cliff. Now should we get started?” I nodded “sure why not...” Might Guy smiled at me “Great! Now first I want you to put this on. It’s much more flexible for the training than what your wearing.” Might guy handed me a trademark green jumpsuit. I was in shock. “uh guy-sensei is there anything else I can wear than this?” Might Guy put a hand on my shoulder “now cliff don’t you want to look as good as me when your training?” I sighed “well if its for the training....but doesn’t it come in any other colors?” Might Guy then handed me a red jumpsuit. “how about this?” I then smiled a little “I guess that is a little better.” I walk into the house and put on the red jumpsuit. “hey that’s nice! He left this one a little baggy. Its not much baggy but it leaves me plenty of room to move around. I guess it could be worse.....I could be wearing that green jumpsuit.” I shuddered at the thought of me wearing the green one. I walked outside to meet Might guy. Might guy gave me a thumbs up “that looks better on you than the green one. The only problem is that is the only red one I have...so be careful! If it rips you will have to wear the green one.” I swallow hard “I hope this one doesn’t rip...” I thought to myself. "I want you to follow me to the training grounds to practice." I just nod. as we were walking through the village people were opening up shops and resturants. one waved at Might guy and yelled "hello guy! I see you got someone else than lee to train." Might Guy Gave a thumbs up "Yes Cliff is a new ninja in the village and needs to train to be ready for missions. and since he is out of shape I will be training him back into shape." then the guy nodded and yelled to me "good luck cliff! your going to need it." I waved to the shopkeeper "thanks I will Try my best." when we got to the training grounds Might Guy Turned to me “allright cliff lets start with touching our toes. Might Guy said to me with a grin on his face. I smiled “oh good something easy!” I get into postion. Might guy turned to me “ready? 1..2..3..4 and 1..2..3..4” I kept up with every move. “now from behind!” I wondered what Might Guy meant by that. Might guy bent over backwards and without falling was touching his toes. “how hard can it be?” I said to myself. I bent over backwards and tried to touch my toes but landed on the ground with a thud. Might Guy started to laugh “don’t worry cliff you will get the hang of it.” I got up and turned to Might Guy. "ok what now, Guy-Sensei?" Might Guy paused for a second then turned to me. "now we will do push ups with only one hand." I start to wonder what is going to be different with this excercise. Might guy suddenly flipped around and had his feet in the air and was pushing up from the ground with one hand. "Uh Guy-sensei how am I supposed to do that?" I said with curiosity. Might Guy got up from his stance "what do you mean cliff?" I scrached my head "well I tried to do that a long time ago but I couldn't keep my balance." Might Guy laughed. "that is probaly because you tried to do it with no support at first. It take practice to get as far as I have. now get against that tree over there and try it again." I get up on the tree and try the push up again. strangly when I did it seemed to help. "hey its working! I am doing it." Might Guy Nodded "I knew that would work"
after 17 pushups on the tree I got down. Might Guy clapped "good job cliff." Just then Might Guy and I heard someone "Guy-Sensei!" we turn around to see Rock Lee Standing there. "Guy-Sensei! dont tell me I missed the morning workout!" Might-Guy shook his head. "not at all lee..we were just getting to the laps around the village." I turned to Might Guy "Guy-sensei are we doing that already?" Might guy turned to me and nodded "yes cliff we are. some of the routine at the moment will be too advance for you. so we need to skip the rest for now and start the marathon around the village." Rock lee then just noticed me. "uh Guy-Sensei...who is that?" Might Guy turned to rock lee "right! Cliff this is lee my best pupil, Lee this is Cliff the new ninja in the village." I bow to lee "nice to meet you Lee" Rock lee gave me a thumbs up "nice to meet you too cliff!" Might guy then turned to me "hey cliff..how about we do a little wager on the marathon. I rub my chin "I am listening.." Might Guy Pointed "if you can go a lap walking on your hands and finish in a hour and forty five minutes I will make it so that you will walk 3 times around the village every week for the next 2 months with weights on to lose your weight and improve stamina." I smile "that sounds good!" Might guy waved his finger "I am not finished yet! if you lose you have to walk 6 times around the village twice a week for 7 months with heavy weights on your legs and arms....plus you have to get a haircut to match mine." I think about it for a moment.
