Where there’s life, there’s hope. You’re not looking forward to being a baby again, but dying in Jackie’s belly is even less appealing. Besides, you have until dinner tonight to come up with a plan. Perhaps an opportunity will present itself. Taking a look at Jackie’s fuming face you realize that if you are to survive you’re going to have to convince her that this is something you want.

Smiling at her you drop to your knees and place your head against her belly, hands lightly holding her sides. “What are you doing?” she asks face now furrowed with confusion.

“Getting used to the sound of your heart from here. I mean, I am going to be hearing it for nine months after all.” That seems to have been the right answer as her face lights up.

“I knew you’d be happy with this.” She coos as she runs her fingers through your hair before grabbing your arm. “Come along, I want to visit more stores before dinner tonight.” She pulls you to your feet and immediately set’s off towards more stores, dragging you along behind her.

You go silently, mind a whirl with thoughts as you search for a way to keep your life without being unbirthed.
