“Then rest,” said Jenny. “Let me do some of the work.” But then she felt something on her toe. She looked down and saw Lucky. He had a stick in his mouth and she squatted down to him. She stroked his head a little. “I’ll play with you in a minute. I’ve just got to help Jack.”
“Coo,” replied Lucky.
“Don’t worry I promise.” She then stood back up and looked at Jack again. “So what needs doing?”
“Just this here,” replied Jack pointing to some wood.
“I’ll have it done in no time.”
“Thanks.”
Jack began to relax a little while Jenny finished off the job. She hummed a little while she did this. But Lucky was still brushing himself on her toes. This made her giggle a little since she was ticklish.
When she was finished she went down to Lucky and she took the stick out of his mouth. She then threw it far away.
“Fetch,” she said.
Lucky soon ran after the stick.
