Diabolical Dynamism
You find a magical amulet with unearthly powers. How you use them are now up to you. |
| You're a normal 14 year old boy. You have a 35 year old mother, a 17 year old step-sister, and 9 year old twin brother and sister (actually, you're only half blood related to the twins). You don't know your real father, and your step-father just died a few days ago by unknown means. While searching through your step-father's old storage, you find a round amulet with an eight pointed star engraved on it. Upon wearing it, it embeds itself in your chest, and you have gained some knowledge of its demonic power. You new abilities include: Possession - Enter the body of an unwitting host, and make them do as you please. Your host will have full knowledge that they have been possessed, but not by what. You will also be able to control how much they remember while under your control, from a slight blur to vivid clarity. Curse - Specifically, Curse of Emotion and Curse of Compulsion. One who is cursed by Emotion will feel unexplainable emotion toward any given person, object, or situation. One who is cursed by Compulsion will uncontrollably perform any action or set of instructions, despite any desire to refrain. Other actions can be taken during either of these curses, should the circumstances allow. These can be used separate or in conjunction with each other, causing a devastating effect on the poor soul until the curse is lifted. Metamorphosis - Unlike possession, which requires a body to inhabit, this ability allows you to take the shape of any creature, person, or object. Visitation - Otherwise considered "Haunting", the visitation power allows you to interact with inanimate objects while remaining entirely intangible to the rest of the human world. You are also invisible to everyone, should you choose to be. Plus there are other powers you have yet to uncover, and may present themselves the more you submit to the powers that be. Ground Rules: Keep the names of characters consistent with the branch they came from. Keeping some things consistent with the whole story is nice, but keeping a branch in continuity with its roots is most important. Use decent sentence and paragraph structure. We're not all perfect, but try to keep the story easy to read for everyone. Drastic continuity errors may be altered or removed should they arise, simply to keep the story coherent. Single sentance or otherwise extremely short chapters may be removed for the sake of shortening story that branches nowhere. At least try getting a whole paragraph of story in each chapter, as to avoid a long line of chapters simply asking "How about possessing your sister. No. How about possessing your other sister. No. How about possessing your best friend. No." All else is open game. Go ahead and add chapters freely. |
