So, you move carefully through the house, which is not easy since your new legs are making it hard to walk. Then you reach the front door and carefully open it with your strange new hands. Then, after closing the door behind you, you practice bouncing on your legs to get used to your new form. When you get the hang of it, you start to hop in the direction of the nature preserve. You're surprised at how fast you can go by hopping. You feel like you're going faster than a bicycle. This is incredible; you're actually starting to enjoy yourself. Perhaps being a kangaroo isn't so bad after all, if only you knew what made you turn into one in the first place.
Within about 20 minutes of hopping, you make it to the nature preserve. You're overwhelmed by your speed as you realize this has taken about a third of the time it takes to ride your bike over here. You hop up to the fence surrounding the perimeter, and then by pumping your legs, you manage to spring even higher with each bounce you make. After a few bounces, you quickly move forward and bounce straight over the fence. You barely make it over the barbed wire with inches to spare!
Once inside, you feel the familiar feel of grass under your feet. You gently bend down and sniff at it. It smells even sweeter than you remember it when you were human. You open your mouth and take a bite. To your surprise, it tastes quite nice. It seems that your new form has given you proper instincts and tastebuds as well. You start to graze calmly at the grass, letting instinct take you over as you blend in with nature. You feel at peace here.
Suddenly, your big ears prick up at the sound of something nearby. You look up immediately. Something is coming towards you. You can't quite see what it is, as it's still quite dark to see, but you can make out... Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
