You look at them closer, they were both black and white, their tails and wingtips with a blue-green sheen to them. You knew they were your brothers, even as birds they were identical. They put their heads down and look up at you. Evie?, you hear their voice in your mind. It was strange to hear them speak without moving their mouths. She could hear it was Jake. Even though their voices were the same, there was small differences that only someone who knew them could tell. He had a quieter and more watchful sound in his voice, unlike his brother, Todd, who had a louder more mischievious ring in his voice. One of them hops forward to you, studying you. Is that you, Evie? You roll your eyes. Yes, you two. you sigh in a whistle. Which one's which? They visibly cheer up, their heads go up and their chins out in their proud manner they do so often when human, looking strangely fitting in their magpie bodies. Todd the one who had studied her before said, nodding his head. Jacob said the one who had said behind and spoke first before. What's going on? He asked turing his head to the side a little behind his brother.
You rustle your feathers. I don't know! I just woke up like this! You hear footsteps. The noise must have woken up your parents! They come closer. And closer. And closer. What are you going to do?! You all screw up your eyes panic flaming through you. They're just out side the door! Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
