I stayed silent and saw Melody leave. I let out a silent sigh of relief, but I saw her pull out a flashlight.

Oh no!

She turned it on and aimed it at the back. The light shone in all of my eyes. She screamed and I walked forward.

"Melody wait!" I tried to say. "It's me Jake!"

Nothing came out but growls again. She grabbed get pack and ran off. I tried to catch up but the weakness of hunger took it's toll. I fell over and cried.

I ran as fast as I could away from that beast. It had five heads! I couldn't hear it behind me anymore and I turned around. The...creature was laying down crying.

Why is that thing crying? Is it because it list it's lunch? No wait, if it wanted to eat me, it would have done it before. It looks really sad...
