While one of her problems was solved, Rapunzel still needed to figure out how to get Mother Goethel to let her go see the laterns. She had tried that morning and had gotten a lecture that she couldn't and why in song. When she was younger, a lesson in song was fine but now that she was nearly eighteen, it wasn't so cool. She was debating on how she could convince her mother to let her go when all of a sudden some guy climbed into her tower.

Scared and not sure what to do, Rapunzel then eyed one of the cooking pots she had just cleaned, she quickly grabbed it, and ran toward the guy who still luckily hadn't noticed her. He was too busy checking his satchel, checking it, and saying something about "Being alone at last" before she knonked him on the head with her cooking pot, knocking him out, and causing him to fall to the floor. Pastel made his way over to the guy and whacked his arm with his tail before quickly backing away in fear that the guy would awake.

Still feeling nervous and scared herself, Rapunzel took a couple steps closer to the guy. She couldn't help but notice that he was a good looking guy. He didn't look like a bad guy or a thug. Remembering that her mother had told her that bad guys and thugs had crooked teeth, she carefully opened his mouth with her cooking pot and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the guy had perfect teeth. It was than that a great idea came to her, if she managed to lock this guy up in a closet then she could show her mom that she could handle being out in the world on her own.

With some good struggle and a little assitance by Pascal, Rapunzel was able to lock the guy away in one of her closets. Can't take care of myself mother? We will see about that she thought to herself, feeling really confident about proving it to her mother so she could go see the lanterns.
